The Bangladesh Society Meet & Greet is a welcoming social event designed to bring together new and returning students interested in Bangladeshi culture and the society.
Join Bangladesh Society at the University of Bradford for our 2026/27 Meet & Greet, an evening dedicated to bringing students together, welcoming new members and building a strong and friendly community for the year ahead.
Whether you are a new student joining the University of Bradford, a returning student, or someone who simply wants to meet new people and learn more about Bangladeshi culture and community, this event is open to everyone. You do not need to be Bangladeshi or a member of the society to attend.
The Meet & Greet will provide a relaxed and informal environment where you can meet fellow students, make new friends, reconnect with existing members and get to know the new Bangladesh Society committee. It is also a great opportunity to find out more about what the society has planned throughout the academic year, including social events, cultural celebrations, sports activities, trips and collaborations with other student societies.
We want this to be more than simply an introductory event. It is an opportunity to bring together students from different backgrounds and years of study, create new connections and establish a welcoming community where everyone feels comfortable getting involved.
